Hawaii has been really lucky in the 4th quarter. Had a fumble go back 20 yards and the one of their guys somehow managed to get to it before Houston. Had a shuffle pass batted up in the air and a OL caught it.

Really enjoyed the Camellia Bowl. Very few people in the stadium who weren't with Buffalo and Marshall, but they were true football fans. I even bumped into one guy who thanked us for one of Alabama's national championships. Seriously, as soon as I mentioned my connection to Iowa State, he mentioned our win over Oklahoma State in 2011. I've never met an Alabama fan who would even admit that they owe one of their championships to us, but this guy initiated it.
Also, he described himself as an Alabama fan, not a " 'bamer." He said that he became a fan by going to Alabama for school, but "'bamer's" become fans by going to Walmart for a cheap t-shirt!

I get that Louisiana beat ISU soundly, but it’s definitely one of those WTF games. Definitely up there with 2018 Drake, 2018 Iowa and 2019 UNI for the worst Campbell’s teams have played.
UTSA has held their own in spite of COVID losses, including their HC. First CUSA team I have seen, but they seem to have very good talent.
CUSA finishes its bowl slate at 0-6, with 4 of those losses to Sun Belt teams.

What could have been for UL if the Sun Belt CCG had not been cancelled? With a win over the only team to beat them, top 10 CCU, maybe they could have been matched up with a more high profile opponent. If I heard the announcer correctly, the two big RBs will enter the draft, but the QB is coming back for one more tour.
This Coastal Carolina vs. Liberty game on ESPN now could be a pretty good game.
Finally over the next week we start to see some more interesting games.
Imo Liberty is the most under-appreciated underdog story.
I'd like to think they are tired of hearing about Coastal.
