I put it in another thread. The thing I worry about with the Alamo Bowl is Pac-12 teams are opting out left and right, so we get down the pecking order of playing an Oregon State or something if Colorado opts out in the coming days. Colorado is also good for an old Big 12 rival, but other than that meh.We would play a ranked Colorado team in Texas with fans. That’s not a bad consolation at all.
Colorado isn’t that good. I’d be happy for a win though. We would play a ranked Colorado team in Texas with fans. That’s not a bad consolation at all.
Yes. I'm tired of losing bowl gamesColorado isn’t that good. I’d be happy for a win though.

There isn’t anyone here who doesn’t want to see us play in the Fiesta. Nobody is afraid of anyone from the Pac 12. Nobody in that conference is that good.Oregon isn't that good either, so why not win the more prestigious bowl. In case anyone forgot this is the majestic and insanely large Fiesta Bowl trophy. If we are getting a trophy damn it let's get the most ridiculous one out there for a massive game.

I encourage you to read any of the bowl-related threads. There is an actual debate on which bowl game is more desirable and better simply because the Alamo is allowing fans. Yes that is a real debate right now, and I am with you it shouldn't be a debate. Playing and winning a Fiesta Bowl is 10x better than an Alamo Bowl. There isn’t anyone here who doesn’t want to see us play in the Fiesta. Nobody is afraid of anyone from the Pac 12. And the golden football detaches. Let's bring that baby home. Now THAT'S a trophy!

Gotcha. That’s crazy. Want nothing to do with the Alamo with the Fiesta on the table.I encourage you to read any of the bowl-related threads. Yeah, that thing ends the debate. Fiesta Bowl Champs or bust! And the golden football detaches. Let's bring that baby home.
It's selfish honestly. There will be plenty of bowl games to go to with Campbell at the helm. This team is good enough to play with just about anybody in the country. 8-1 in a P5 conference deserves a NY6 chance, so I don't personally want these men to get bumped down to a lesser (Still good obviously) bowl. Build the program by making a NY6 a consistent thing. It's also not like the Alamo is letting in unlimited capacity. It's 11k I believe, so not like we are talking 25-30k fans at the game. And San Antonio will be much different this time as many things are restricted or closed due to COVID I believe I heard.People who are advocating playing the AlamoBowl against Colorado over the Fiesta Bowl against Oregon... why?? Simply because of the 10,000 fans? Really?
A NY6 bowl game would be huge. People are still bringing up that Kansas has more NY6 wins than Notre Dame.
