Blum Leaving We Will?

Its actually part of Cyclone Sports Properties/Learfield, but fans can give via the ISU Foundation.
@brentblum you still doing the podcast with Williams even though you’ve lived on from We Will?
His X post implies that he will.
This is sad, Blum did a great job, had that common person knack that made him really likeable, be interesting to see what and who comes next.
Its also worth noting that the NIL positions inside the athletics department/Learfield are somewhat different than what Brent did at We Will. The Learfield NIL people work with Cyclone athletes to get NIL deals outside revenue sharing with companies & organizations and example would be Audi's deal with Fairway (which she got previously but its a good example). Currently donations/purchases of We Will products go to the athletics department through the foundation to help make the revenue sharing payments to athletes.
Build him a Bag Man statue. For real, the success ISU has had the past 3-4 years in all major sports, despite being (on paper) severely disadvantaged is incredible. Right man at the right time
Yes, thanks for clarifying. And of course the Foundation's priority is education first. So the sports motto is now revised just slightly to WeMight.

Is there any reason to donate to We Will at this point vs The Cyclone Club? I just kind of assumed that they transitioned We Will to the athletics department/foundation so that the reoccurring donations people had set up could continue if they wished. But now that revenue share to the athletes is being paid out of the athletics budget, I think a We Will donation and a Cyclones Club donation essentially goes to the same pool of money.

I, for one, hope for more nudity.
The lack of communication from the AD and Foundation is concerning. I went out to the foundation to research the change and found a We Will Fund, WBB Support Fund, MBB Support Fund, and Volleyball Support Fund- and none of them have a description of what it’s for. What I liked about We Will under Blum was I could donate to specific sports- that doesn’t look like the case anymore.
Either way, I’ve been concerned since this was announced that the AD would focus on the big dollar donors (The Sukups, Van Diests, Allbaughs, and Starks of the world) and completely ignore the small dollar donors. I will echo others to say thanks @brentblum for everything you’ve done!
I’ve heard he’s taken a position as the Head of Security for the Brooke Burke poster at Welch Ave Station
100%. I remember I ran into him in Ireland & he says "Hey, nice to see you again!"
Even though I'm pretty sure that's the first/only time I've met him lol. Thanks for all you've done, Blum!
