Biggest Men's NCAA Tournament No. 1 Seed Snubs

Does anyone know any of the history behind the tourney committee in 2000? Was there any built in bias that would have favored Stanford? Or was this just an honest blunder? I don't recall the nature of that discussion post-seeding.

The loss to Drake haunted that team. They would have been a 1 seed and a final four team if that doesn't happen.

Yes. ISU should've won the national title that year.

The full game at KU that year is on Youtube in 4 segments. They were down by about 10 with 4-5 minutes left.

It's known for Fizer's clinching shot but Tinsley with 2 pick pockets and going full length for scores showcased the perfect mixture of talent and toughness that imo hasn't been replicated since.

Many didn't like LE's style of ball but there wasn't much to not like about watching that team.

ISU got jobbed. Easily should have been a 1-seed. MSU had a freaking home game and outstanding officiating to get to the final 4.

Loved Larry. Never should have been canned. He would have won the conference title again if he got to coach Stinson/Blalock. IMO.

Yeah, the combination of Morgan's recruiting and Larry's coaching would have been great, it seems. Morgan was only on staff for Larry's last season, correct? And that was long enough to land a couple of great players.

Not only were we not a 1 seed, we must have been the lowest 2 seed, correct? Doesn't the lowest 2 seed get put with the number one overall seed (MSU)? Or is it strictly by location at that point
