Big Man Options Next Year

He was not even close to the main problem tonight. I don't know why he gets all of the god damn **** around here, but it is clear that it is OK to bash him, but not others.

George was the only player that looked like he cared that they lost tonight by the way.

Great for him. He's still not good at this level of basketball.

Dunks and layups at 6'10? Sure. Almost all of those shots are off of rolls where he has an uncontested shot. Have you ever seen him take a short jump shot in the lane or the elbow? Even when he's not even being guarded?

What is his percentage on baby hooks? I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it's pretty low. Maybe lower than Bob's free throw percentage.
I don't have the answers but I promise you don't want to see Bob's numbers shooting the ball.

0 rebounds.

Again not our biggest problem tonight. I'm not saying he was good tonight. I'm just saying you all seem to think he's the reason we lose. EVERY one of the players were bad tonight. All of them.
I posted about it a few weeks ago but Conditt's metrics have him as like one of a couple positive players on offense on the team. Do I wish he had progressed more? Sure. But he's so much better than any alternative for the 5 on the roster it's crazy. He's second on the team in assist rate, second in PER, first in TS%, etc.

I just hate that he gets so much hate on here.

I wish we would use him more in the pick and roll with Tyrese. That plays to his strengths much better. I think he has had a solid year and is a great Cyclone. I don't know how much coaching he got his first few years here.

I didn't watch but everybody's stats in the box score were BAD. I guess that isn't surprising when you only score 36 points.

Only scoring 36 points is almost not believable.

The guy sitting next to me was ******** about only scoring 20 in the first half. The team said hold my beer.

When this team is bad it is horrid hence the over reaction. Tonight shouldn’t have been a huge surprise. We were due.

Hey! Don’t bash George Conditt on this board!!

He’s been here 4 years and been through alot, ok!

Nah **** that. You’ll get dumbed down all day for talking bad about George but truth is he’s terrible and not close to a Big 12 caliber player. He would not start on any other big 12 team.

Well grill can’t hit a god damn shot in the place he plays 60% of his games. So he should also get some ****.

Maybe fair but Grill has still stepped up and helped us win games this year.

So has George. I think he’s deceptively good in games we’ve won. See the post above for the metrics.
A lot of that is because he’s a main part in how we run our offense (for some dumb reason) so he’s touching the ball almost every trip down the court.
