It just hit me as I am packing that I also have to pack for a cruise next week since we are leaving as soon as I get back. And I am trying to fit it all into two small bags. I really hope I can do a load before the plane leaves. Definition of 1st world problems I guess.

2 of us headed down Thursday morning. Lifelong, "I should go to the B8/B12 Tourney guy." First time this year. Looking forward to great Basketball. Planning on attending all games, but interested in other must do's. Will be staying in P & L.Is it McFaddens before first ISU game or is something else better?

I remember driving down last year on Sat. morning.... we left very early from the Cedar Rapids are, and when we started south of DesMoine..... it was amazing how many ISU plates, flags, stickers, hats and shirts we could see on and in the vehicles..... it was like half the state was migrating down there...... I hope we flood the area with our colors again this year.

For me, hanging out with my friends drinking beer is #1. But I love watching games with them while doing so. If that makes me a bad fan then so be it.

Just getting on the road for my 28th Big 8/Big 12 Tournament. Use to be a father/son deal and we incorporated the female side of the equation about a decade ago. Have a 2 1/2 year old (too young to go) and I'm hopeful in 4-5 years it can be a grandpa/dad/son trip. Section 104, Row 5 should be a helluva a time.

Headed down there Thursday morning with 6 friends of mine. Last year was our first go around we're 3-0 so far, gotta keep the streak going! I let all my professors know exactly why I was missing class, turns out my Thursday night class was going to be canceled anyways because my professor is going to the game too
