4 time place winner at state and 2 time state champion. As a senior he was 47-1 with 30 pins. Not too shabby IMO.

Wasn't Sloan also a multi-sport athlete that didn't wrestle many tourneys outside of Iowa? Maybe he was on everyone's radar. Just thought I remembered a few things on a couple articles written about Tanner.

I think ESPN and the announcers are doing well. I am liking the multiview.

These announcers are just terrible. They were questioning if Coleman's takedown at the end was really a takedown.... and it was the most obvious takedown you can imagine.

That first escape by Sam was the most athletic move he has flashed in a year. He seems to be rounding into form at the right time.
