How do you even know the fan was going at the OSU player? I've seen it a couple times over and I haven't seen anything in there to assume the guy was acting maliciously towards their players

Seems like a restrained response. He must have gotten pressured by someone to make a statement, but that was a very coach-speak type of statement. Our set up does make it hard to exit for opposing teams when we storm the field. As long as they have to go against the grain of the student section flooding onto the field it will raise concerns of the professional Holgorsen type people.

Throw the book at this idiot. I have no idea why going after a player in a game you had no part in winning is the first thing on someone's mind rather than celebrating with your friends.
Maybe just stay off the field until the teams have congratulated each other and the visitor is off the field. It doesn't take that long. Probably too many idiots in any given fan base to make that work.

It was a necessary change as I’m sure you know. They could move the students, but 1 field storm a year doesn’t really seem to make the headache of reseating worth it probably.

If the guy was in the front few rows of the student section, chances are he was in line early, and in the stadium at 1. I highly doubt he was drunk still at 6 pm.
