Big 12 Media Days thread

It was hotter than hell.
Yes it was. I remember their "tailgating" experience was literally a roped off section of desert, where you parked your car. We slammed Budweiser tallboys and dodged tumbleweed, squinting to keep the dust from blowing in them. Not my favorite experience.

the response where he said suspending him would be unfair to the rest of the players was pretty incredulous.
Yep and leading off with “I’m gonna do what’s best for Oklahoma State football”

Best ever in the Campbell era, will see rapid improvement, road grading ballerinas up and down the line, deepest depth in the league.

I know you are bagging on him, but that's a great line - bordering on tuff as rain or athletic spider levels.

The biggest takeaway from CMC's press conference was....he needs to start wearing sunscreen!

Yeah, that would be excellent. Plentiful flights from basically anywhere. Tons of lodging options. Warm climate. Great stadium. ISU would bring 30,000 people easily if we were playing in it.
Man, I don't know. Walking around Memphis in my winter coat and playing a team on their home field in dumpy stadium vs walking down the Vegas strip at night in shorts and flip flops and then playing a P3 team in an ultra modern NFL indoor stadium.

That's a tough one!

Vegas in bowl season is wildly different than Vegas for an early non conf game in terms of fantastic weather vs surface of the sun weather.

Even right now in July it's like upper 80s lows and 120 high for a solid week.

I like the ISU shirt pictured above, but why is that CyClone sporting my high school St. Albans Red DragonS mascot on his chest? Anyone know if he's from St. Albans Wva?

A silly question: On what day does the four corner schools officially become part of the Big 12? The reason I ask is the University of Utah athletics website still has Pac 12 logos all over it. Just curious.
**** Utah.
