Best Cyclone Sports Memory?

1981 Osenbaugh pins Banach at Heavyweight has to be up there.

Same with watching Danny Harris run the 400m hurdles.

1976-ISU was playing host to No. 9 Nebraska in front of over 50,000 raucous Cyclone fans on a brisk late-November day. After the Cornhuskers cut ISU's lead to 10-7 late in the first quarter, Blue (Luther) quickly severed the Husker momentum by darting 95 yards on the ensuing kickoff. The kickoff return, which is the third longest in school history, helped propel ISU to a 37-28 upset win and its first victory over the Huskers since 1960.

1) 23-3 vs Iowa at Jack Trice. I was in the drum line on the sidelines for that game. What a blast. Still remember them showing all the Iowa fans heading for the gates in the 4th Q

2) Upset #5 TCU at Jack Trice a couple weeks after upsetting OU. Singing Sweet Caroline with the fans rushing the field was very cool.

I will also never forget having my heart ripped out against #9 Nebraska in their last time playing at JTS. The thrill of seeing the fake and the crushing feeling of that interception. Whooo boy...

Fiesta Bowl for sure. The awards podium was surreal. It was great to see the happiness in the player's faces. Being part of a team is a great thing

I have many good memories. Too many to list. But mine would be watching Troy Davis break the 2000 yard seasons back to back. I was at those games. Very humbling feeling watching history being made.

I have so many.

1. Troy Davis and Darin Davis coming over for steaks at my parents house mid Heisman Campaign.
2. Dwayne Crutchfield attending my older brothers birthday party and giving us his jersey
3. Being Ball boys growing up for football
4. Seeing my son be a ball boy for basketball
5. Insite.com bowl
6. Elite 8 run
7. Throwing Goal posts into lake Laverne after beating Nebraska
8. Fiesta Bowl
9. Oklahoma State basketball game when Fred went off at the end
10. Being at the Lafester game.

Bonus: I was at the Johnny Orr Roast with some of the legends of the sport.
