When I watch Baylor I see what we should be. Their defense is essentially our defense except they do it well consistently. They are getting more confident every game and today they are taking KU behind the woodshed...something we should be able to do, but again...we can’t play a full game. Impressive.

Ehhhh.....We are pretty damn close to being what Baylor is. Baylor also blew a huge lead against Oklahoma.

Baylor is a better team than we are this season, but if the roles were reversed, everyone would be saying that Baylor is a couple breaks away from being Iowa State.

Baylor is lucky as f*ck to have their record. They got the bounces this year and we didn't.

It seems to me that Baylor has been slightly more consistent. We seem to rise (or drop) to the level of our opponents. I'm a hopeless romantic, so I like to believe that next year, our opponents will be playing to us rather than the other way around. I base this on nothing more than pure speculation and that we play a lot of young players that will, in theory, be even more awesome next year.

Sometimes luck and bounces are made by the play on the field. Baylor has done what they need to do and we haven’t. Just disappointing is all.
