Why do fan bases like Baylor get to enjoy nice things like national championships? I was good with Baylor winning, it's a covid year so whatever, but really am starting to question things about my faith after watching this.

Fans dont win you champioships. ADs do. As much as we dislike Baylor their AD has been pretty good at finding and retaining great coaches. Drew, Mulkey, Briles(man those last two are tough to say) are or were great coaches. Now the last two may be scum, but if winning is the priority, and it is, Baylor may have the best AD in the conference.

I feel like Baylor as a national champion fits in the Biff Tannen Pleasure Palace timeline of Back to the Future II along with many other events of recent years.
Yeah

What goes unreported too is Scott Drew constantly hiriing and firing AAU coaches to get commits from that circuit. He has used his summer bbball camp as a net to do this.

One of those things that isn't illegal but highly unethical in the recruiting game in hoops.

Baylor: Victory before Honor, Integrity, Decency, Class, Indictments
