I would tend to think that having her mom and other family being able to watch her play is very important to her. I know that her dad's family members regularly attend games in Ames.

I sat in "comped" seats for the Oklahoma game last year and Audi had more fans in the section than any other player. One of her AAU coaches and the coach's daughter sat next to me. There was another group of Audi fans in the row ahead of us, very engaged and "talking to her" as the game unwound. I'm guessing they were maternal grandparents and a maternal uncle. So yeah, I agree having friends and family attend games is important to her and works to our benefit in keeping her in Ames.

Extremely proud she is representing Iowa State. She is exactly what every kid should look to aspire. Very, very few people are talented enough to play division 1 sports; however, EVERY person has the capability to conduct themselves like Audi. We can all learn from Audi, myself included

The first response to Talia’s tweet this morning linking the article was an older gal worried about Audi getting stress fractures and asking if she’s working with a nutritionist. Thought it was completely ironic with the focus of the article.

Audi is a queen and I’m thrilled to have her in Ames.

We have arrived at games right after the doors open & never witnessed Audi playing the drums. I think she must play with the band before the fans arrive....
It would be fun to see her & the pep band interacting!

I have heard the story and believe it is after there shoot around on game day - long before fans get there.
