Attendance for game this weekend

How many people will show up this weekend? Does the streak of 50k plus end here? If less than 50k show up, will it even be reported truthfully or does JP go into damage control mode and skew the numbers?

This is the most apathy I have ever seen around the football program.

The 50K streak has always been tickets sold. Not numbers through the gates. Everyone reports tickets sold. Its not "damage control" or "skewing the numbers"

I think we should still email him or write an open letter. amiright?

No one is apathetic. We care about our program and that's why we want staff changes.

Game 1 of the NLCS is at 7:30; if it's out of reach at half I'll likely leave and watch the baseball game

Ah another attendance prediction.... well keep predicting fellas. One of you will get it right after being wrong for years.

I think ISU will leave the attendance inflation to Iowa and Nebraska. Remember all those "sellouts."

No prediction made from me, just curious about the opinion of others. Probably an irrelevant question considering actual attendance numbers are not used.

Sorry to inconvenience you by making you click on this thread and reply.

Thats a valid point. Maybe I should have said this is the most apathetic I have been.

There you go. That sounds more accurate. The apathy-o-meter is pretty low by early to mid 90s standards.

I'll be there with friends and family. I'm guessing 52,000 .... and the streak continues.

There will be 50+ at game time.......but depending on how fast TCU wants to twist the knife will depend on when it JTS starts resembling Carver Hawkeye Arena.

I say that the "Official Attendance Figure" will be..............55,000..............

The game is already out of reach. These players and coaches have zero confidence, and no one has any clue on how to change that.

Can I get a clarification on the rules? Is it like The Price Is Right and if you go over you're disqualified?

My apathy is short term, it's too late to do anything about this year so I don't care if we lose to TCU by 14 or by 35. Doesn't matter much really. Long term I care a lot, short term I know we are screwed. I won't be apathetic after the year is over and it is time to make a change.

The end of the Walden years and Criner years had more apathy, less anger, but there were just far less people that cared and less ways to express themselves publicly.

Plus in this day in age, we just can't be an embarrassment every weekend like we are right now. Too much at stake.
