ASU/KU in London ???

Guessing it's to dominate the morning TV window like the NFL does. Game starts at 8 am central time and kickoffs off at 2 pm in London. It's smart for the Big 12, but I don't want ISU going to Europe for football for awhile. Ireland was a success and let's leave it at that

The biggest problem was "Ireland was a success". When something is a success, they usually don't quit doing it. Hopefully it will be 15 years before we have to do it again and they make all the big 12 teams do it.

Yea, I'm fine sending the rest of the league hahaha.

KU is giving up a home game for this and their fans seem less than thrilled. Oddly enough, ISU doesn't play either of these teams in 2026.

Ireland really was an awesome experience for the fans that went though. Should be cool for KU/ASU fans, even if not convenient for the actual teams.

But I bet our guys look back at that Ireland game very fondly after their careers are over.

I'll say this, I'm thankful to KSU for giving up a home game for this. If we had given up a home game, and lost the game in Ireland, that'd be a tough pill to swallow. The loser of that game has basically tanked the season afterward every year.

The "success" was largely due to having to fan bases who are known to travel well. I don't know if KU or ASU fans will actually travel overseas to watch their football teams play

I didn't go to Dublin but I heard from fans that did that the country and city completely sold out to make the experience over the top amazing for the teams.. Don't know if I can see London doing the same... maybe i'm wrong
While London is far bigger and has more to see.... Dublin/Ireland is perfect for a trip like this.. Give me Ireland all day long.

Going to Ireland as a fan was a bucket list experience. It’d be fun to go to London for other fans.

Of course, winning that game was the cream in the coffee. Might’ve felt differently.

Also if CFB is going to do all these international games NFL style let’s stop pretending it’s anything but big business (we passed that point long ago tbf).
