Seen the 4-2-5 in the Ole Miss game as well
It’s pretty common for teams to switch from 4-3 to Nickel based on down and distance. Most teams actually start in 4-3 but run Nickel more.
Key will be S&C coach. SDSU held up very well physically when playing FBS opponents the past several years, so I have fairly lofty expectations there.

I'd like to think that those following Matt would do a deep dive re: the players that our kids would be competing with.
Why transfer unless one is sure they will be competing against someone (s) that is better?
Ps. I'm not including $'s in this equation.
So our coaching staff is going to be Jimmy & Ricky? That's kind of funny.
Ciccone takes the edge off the peckerwood vibes without diminishing the meathead qualities.

Not much to lose, I am very afraid of the offense going forward.
I dont think the UFL coaches make much, from what I saw like around $100K so I would think money would not be an issue. Hes done well in the UFL, and might be a great way to keep Rocco which would in turn maybe help keep a lot of others too.
Just an Idea, but I think a decent one.
This guy’s dad destroyed ISU football in the 80’s and we didn’t recover until Mac arrived.Rogers needs to poach his own defensive analyst. This guy looks promising:
