I really want to see what the State has on this. That filing on top of taking 15 years doesn't give me any confidence they have the right person.

If they don’t have any new information in the 15 years and decided to throw this against the wall and see what sticks, shame on them. This is a person’s life they are messing with. If she did not do it, they’ve ruined her reputation, her livelihood, and likely her finances.
And forced the family to relive the whole death/burial/mourning experience all over again. If this is all they got, I’m shocked the AG’s office didn’t put a stop to it
….Or she has gotten away with murder for 15 years. Living her life without regard to the turmoil she created.
Pretty sure the AG office is the reason why we are at this point…
Sleezy attorneys that get in trouble almost always hire Parrish. He defended two in our county. He defended the DSM superintendent. I know a detective who purposely joined the NAACP so he could have a card in his wallet when Parrish would question him about being racist. I like Parrish, I’ve met him a few times. The detective also liked him. He kinda keeps the prosecutors on their toes.
Any defense attorney that is as good as Parrish is at their job is going to be controversial.
Give em the Bird big claim was to be "TOUGH ON CRIME" Her big thing so far is sueing meta for addicting kids to facebook.
Alfredo isn’t getting involved in loser cases at this point in his career. I’d be really surprised if she’s convicted.
Not the AG's call. Strictly up to the Dallas County Attorney. AG's office can be called in for backup assistance to a county attorney in major felony cases.
Couple things-
I know Alfredo well as he is a family friend. He was a bi-weekly golf partner of my father in law who was a county prosecutor. They were joined in this foursome by the former chief justice of the iowa supreme court. I was privy to some of these convos and Al knows many of his clients are guilty. I have had the same questions as you guys about having to defend filth. Someone has to do the job though. Like a garbage man or snake wrangler, it aint well thought of but it pays damn well.
As for Ramsey, I know several WDM cops and i will just offer this tidbit. When she was questioned this most recent time it was different as she sat with her head down for 3 hours not saying a word or making eye contact. Nothing. Didnt even ask for an attorney. That doesnt mean guilt but it sure doesnt look good either.
