It was the clue for anyone paying attention. But if you voice your concerns in this forum, even in a reasonable manner (ie, not gostate71), you get attacked.
The metrics at the time said Cincinnati was the better team. We still had our chances against them on the field. Margins beat us.
The metrics said we were way better than Colorado. Margins beat us BAD that game. Losing to that team exposed something else- there's something wrong with the team itself. There's got to be something happening in the locker room that nobody is talking about.

To be honest, I’ve thrown in the towel for this football team. Injuries took its toll, players making too many mental mistakes, and it’s just frustrating to watch the team constantly give games away.
On to the basketball season ….
Listen, we lost key players. It’s not like we are loosing these games 55-7. Seems to me we had another season where we started 5-0 and then lost out… I doubt if that will happen this season but it is a real possibility.
