Arizona State 2/7

ceveat, I’m ripped, but I disagree here. Schultz is a slog, and damn good at it, but it would have been nice to have some offense.
Agree to disagree.

Most heavies (even guys ranked in the top 30) would have been hit with a few more stall calls that match. Peanut gave up ground early but battled the last 4 mins.

Tough guy to generate offense on. You can’t move him and when you do shoot, he’s so low he just smashes you down and goes behind.

Who was all on the call on the varsity app? I was watching on TV and someone text asking

Just an uneducated observation, but... has stalling been way better reffed this year? There are always exceptions, but I feel like they're not letting anyone back up the entire match, the "push outs" seem more consistent, and they're making the top guy wrestle as well. No more parallel rides. It appears BETTER to me at least.

ASU did I really poor job scouting MJ. That kid clearly wanted to get in a rolly poley match and MJ loves that sh*t lives on crazy. Can someone explain to me what in the world Gaitan was doing on that reversal though? Or is that just part of the MJ experience?

MJ experience. He’s wrestling more solid but we’ll still have 1-2 oh no moments per match

They’re totally different. But there’s many similar feelings watching him as watching Degen. Except with Degen it was like “god that seems really dumb… oh wow, it worked” but with MJ it’s “Jesus Christ are you insane?!?!?… nevermind great move!!”
