Arizona Postgame Thread

Williams isn’t really the one I was talking about. But cooper, Cummings-Coleman, ta’shawn James, and dom orange all getting injured in one game? And not off of weird stuff like Williams but off routine things. Last year was also horrible for injuries obviously, one of the worst in my lifetime. This is a pattern under this S&C regime. Not calling for heads just saying there is a way to reduce the likelihood of this happening with improved S&C.
It’s football. Injuries happen all the time. You seriously think it’s a strength and conditioning issue? Just so wrong!

I’m sorry but when you’re up 22 in the 4th quarter you don’t have to play your stars.. Rocco and Dom should’ve been on bench with 10 mins to play

That's 3 possessions.

If they're covering the length of the field in a minute, you keep your starters there.

Again they could get hurt at any time so I don't know why people stick to this narrative.

Thinking back to my days as an athlete...there are times when you just totally overwhelm the opponent and it's almost laughably easy. There are other times when you have a good opponent that makes you work for it and you still kick their ass because you're just hitting on all cylinders. Those are super satisfying wins.

That's what tonight was.

I remember when you would go to a game and there would be some drunk kids being annoying in the section once in a while. Now it’s all 60 year
Old women stumbling, drooling and cussing up a storm. There was lady sitting in front of me that I can’t figure out how she even made it into the stadium she was so *********. As she showed up halfway thru the first quarter the first she announced to the whole section was ‘you ************* better cheer’ and then fell into the row in front of her. At half time she asked her husband what 1776 meant as the band did Hamilton songs.

Enlighten us how conditioning prevents the types of injuries we saw tonight (or with Cooper).

Absolutely dominant performance. We kicked their ass from start to finish.

Patton, Williams, and Neal definitely are the defensive MVPs.

Sowell and honestly the offensive line are the MVPs on the offense. Rocco had a great game as well except for that last interception.

S&C needs to be seriously evaluated in the offseason. This amount of injuries is insane.
The injuries today had nothing to do with S and C. Cmon man.

If anything, S&C might be the reason why Williams was able to walk off. Our guy 26 rolled right into his leg and it bent sideways. That is textbook LCL/MCL sprain/tear territory and typically very painful.

I was at the game and they had Dom on the bike after the second time he came off the field and was in the tent. I'm sure if they thought he was hurt real bad they wouldn't have done that.
He wanted to go back in at one point and looked annoyed that they wouldn't let him

Is there a good reason Rocco and other starters were playing late when we were up 3 TDs?
