No surprises in the top 5.

Big XII notes:
- ISU stays strong at #3
- Houston up to #6
- KU moves UP a spot after losing at home to Houston (makes sense when you look at what happened around them)
- Tech and WVU wave at each other as Tech re-enters at #22 and WVU, plummets to "receiving 3 votes"

Other notes:
- SEC leading the way with 10 teams
- UConn and the best college coach in the sport hanging on with a #25 ranking

Looking at UConn's schedule, I guess their best two wins are an an un-ranked Gonzaga, followed by a win over un-ranked Baylor. And they are 2-3 in their last 5, with all 3 losses to unranked teams.

I get that they won the last 2 championships, but there's no chance another team is ranked with that resume.

Agree 1000%. If that’s a Big 12 team they’re not even getting votes

Additional oddity, UConn has remained in the top 25 ALL season. Didn't even drop out after going 0-3 in Maui.

Helps to be preseason rank of #3, then being #2 for a couple of weeks before the losses, so it can take longer for the drop. But there are other teams now that could be top 25 instead. Just as valid to consider Maryland, Utah State, Clemson, Arizona (considering the quality of its wins, even though it struggled early in the season)

I feel like the Big 12 isn't getting any respect. Looking at the NET rankings, Houston and ISU are flip flopped. Then Kansas is #8 in the NET and #11 in the AP, Texas Tech is #11 in the NET and #22 in the AP, Arizona is #16 in the NET and #30 in the AP, and Baylor is #28 in the NET and #35 in the AP. I know the Big 12 is down compared to last year, but we're not this far behind the SEC, and I think we're equal to if not better than the Big 10.

To be fair, the sport forced them to go to Hawaii and lose 3 games

Voters are stupid. Arizona is a top 15 team.

Kansas lost at home and moved up in the rankings. Some of these teams apparently are just required to be in the top 25
KU lost 25 “votes” compared to last week. They went up because of all the chaos around them

Connecticut 3 - 3 in Quad 1, 6 -5 in Quad 1 + 2, with a Quad 3 loss
WVU 4-4 in Quad 1(all 1a), 5 -6 in Quad 1 + 2, no Q3 losses

One voter has Connecticut as #12 on his ballot, several others have them in the top 20.
WVU: only one voter put them in his top 25

Are the voters afraid Hurley is going to yell at them if he's not ranked?

Too many SUX teams.
