Wastewater systems came to my mind first.

How do would you use it?

Not my own but I helped a co worker revise his before sending it in a couple years ago. It's software related around an algorithm to handle multiple processes on a given entity without having contention issues.

I've used ryton on a lot of stuff it's really useful in certain applications. Mainly I used it for bushings on pump shafts.

I know he was "on loan" from his employer to help with it. I think it was for Phillips 66 in Oklahoma.
He had a big cast metal plaque on his wall. Pretty neat.
