It must be summer, because this high schooler has no class.

I have a couple friends up here who are pilots, and a couple more who are fighting wildfires. Danger is more inherent in Alaska, and lives depend on taking those risks. I respect the hell out of them for it.

Alaska has more pilots than any other state and due to the conditions that they fly in most are probably better pilots than a large chunk of us down here in the lower 48.
