I think Golesh was upset that he didn’t get the OC job here after Tom Manning left for the Colts for the one season.
Not really. He’s not an Xs and Os guy at all but he’s good at recruiting. He’s got an ego that many were ready to see move on.
When CMC was asked about Alex’s success so far this season at South Florida, the first thing CMC did was to say “yeah, really neat” and then congratulate……Jason Candle on becoming the all time wins coach at Toledo. Golesh seems second in the answer.

It's awesome to watch what those guys are doing and certainly know what those guys are about and what they stand for. So I'm fired up for those guys.”
