There is a massive recession just starting? This is a shock right now, but we have 15% unemployment right now and Q2/Q3 earnings are going to be a bloodbath.
That 15% unemployment could be cut signifcally when things open back up. A couple quarters of bad earnings is expected from the street. If this rolls in to Q4 and Q1 of 2021 then we could see some issues.

Oil stocks have slowed, wondering if I should take profit on some again, but don't want to jump off this coaster on the incline.

Some have slowed. I've been riding PUMP up from $1.50. A lot is going to depend on the negotiations between OPEC and Russia.

I went after shell at 24. They have not cut dividends in something like 15 years or so. So at that price if they held dividends, I would get a 16% dividend.

Darn it, I was very tempted to buy some shares of Carnival at 8 bucks on friday. If I would have been willing to hold the weekend, it would have been a fitty percent return already.

They are hearing the peaks are happening soon, and are projecting out 3-6 months already.
Right, everyone already knows earnings are going to look bad for the next quarter or two. The buying is based on forward-looking, not what we already know.

Didn’t get in at the bottom, but did some buying at the next dip after that, so close.

Doing nice so far, but the goal is to hold through the recovery and next bull, so staying put.

Still continuing monthly DCA on long term investments and mutual fund accounts

The Dow Jones stocks are doing better than the average. You have another 10% spread the composite and the Dow Jones.

I was going to buy some RCL Friday too but my wife talked me out of it. It's up $10 a share right now.

Yeah I am almost even now from January. I guess I should just reinvest and not get greedy.

Yeah some day. Couldn't even close green. Hopefully we get a good push into Thursday so I can sell a few things and add some shorts.

After yesterdays crazy ride, this morning (while up) still feels like kind of a let down.

Seems to still be going nuts. If I had bought some recently short term I would get out, but what do I know... I have been wrong about everything so far.

I think 25k will be hard to hit. Think tomorrow will be ok and then have sell off starting late tomorrow and into Friday.
