Echoing the others, but parking at Mall of America and taking the train is the way to go. We did this a few years ago and wouldn't change a thing.

With the addition of Smeltzer and Poppen's recall, the pen has looked better lately. Just hope Poppen has command of his pitches, if he does he can be a real asset.

There are still a few good #4 or #5 starters out there, and Pineda or Perez could be moved to middle relief.

Whenever I go to Twins games I park here https://www.hclib.org/about/locations/minneapolis-central-parking. Underground parking that's pretty clean and secure compared to a lot of other options downtown. Looks like it's an hourly rate on the weekdays until after 3pm.
Another vote for the MOA and taking train in. We go to about 6 Twins games a year and drive up from Iowa. We did this the very 1st time and it is just so dang convenient and cheap. Spend the night in a hotel near the MOA and train in. We usually eat at the Mall before the game, catch the game and then do whatever after the game then train back to the Mall after the crowds go away.
We bought Saturday August 10th and Sunday the 11th tickets against the Indians a few months ago because it was convenient calendar wise and we wanted to get the kids up there again before school starts. Well now didn't that suddenly turn into a great series to catch 2! Sometimes luck is an odd thing.

Sellers are asking a LOT and it will take a lot to get Syndergaard. In the era of the daily homerfest he has a career .7 homers per 9 innings while still striking out almost 10 per nine and is only 26. Even adjusted a little for not have to see a DH each game, that's league leading stuff. Might have questions regarding his durability though. Most of the other starters that are actually truly available are #4's and #5's that teams are trying to push off as aces or #2's and they just are not.
I agree that sellers are asking a lot and Syndergaard is probably worth a significant price. That said, asking for a current star starter on the team is crossing over to stupidity.
Agree. Just hope he wasn't laughing at the Mets thinking the Twins interest was actually more than PR.
The only thing that worries me about Thor is that his ERA this season is more than a full run higher than his career rate. His strikeouts are down a bit, but he still has a fine K/BB ratio. I just wonder why the ERA is so much higher. It doesn't appear he's been giving up a high amount of dingers.
Agree they asked too much but mere prospects won't obtain a guy like Syndergaard who isn't turning free agent till 2022. Mets aren't unloading salary or trying to get something for someone they are going to lose in few months. Won't steal a guy like that, will need to hurt some.
Glad Odorizzi got his game back last night. Also an encouraging performance by the bullpen, including newest Twin Romo. On a night when the Twins didn't score many runs, that was refreshing.
Also nice to see the Tribe lose as well. Need to win this series in Miami then fatten up against the Royals.
Rocco already saying he likes the current team (as in they probably won't add anything today). I think our current starters are OK, but I hope the Twins add a long reliever for those days when one of the starters is not on.

Levine and Falvey had to be quite uncomfortable with that one. Dyson completely crapped the bed.
Terrible loss today. Bullpen mismanagement at its finest between yesterday and today. You should never have to go to Rogers up 7-0 in the bottom of the 9th, which in turn leads to him not wanting to use him to start the 9th today.
