2028 Summer Olympics

So are they setting everything on top of the field or taking the field out to make a temporary venue?
Sounds like it will be similar to how they set up the 2024 trials at Lucas Oil (who’s hosting 2028 trials again). Basically split the stadium in 2 with a warm up pool is one half and spectator seating in the other.

In the end it depends on your financials - but will you ever get to go again? IMO you will remember the Olympics a lot longer than whatever else you would spend the money on. But I am more of a spend on experiences rather than things person. At least that’s what I told myself when I was in Ireland last August lol.

Track and Field at the Olympics is incredible! I went to the October 1st Track and Field events at the 1988 Seoul Olympics (5,000 Korean Won for a ticket which was about $7 US) which included seeing Flo Jo and Evelyn Ashford win a Gold Medal in the 4 X 100 Relay:
