2027 Commit

Feels like the type of guys Toledo snags out of Ohio that end up being all conference MAC players.
That's what I was thinking, like a Campbell recruit that ends up being a good MAC player. But some of these under the radar kids (Verdon is a good example) pan out.

We have a lot of visitors with nice rankings and offers. Those are the kids I am hoping we land. Even though some of the under the radar ones end up being good, a majority of them transfer out after a couple of years to get more playing time.

The offensive line commits in this class are really good. 4 offensive line commits so far with impressive offers
On paper, this class is better on the OL than any Campbell class. I will wait for 4 years of recruiting and development to make the call whether Coach Rogers will produce better offensive lines, although the bar isn't necessarily super high.

Eh. Not super excited for this one. Good sized WR though.

So, your evaluation is based on, what? Have you met the kid in person and can judge his character, his personality? Have you analyzed his tape with an educated football coach's eye?

What is your comprehension and attention span like? The kid is a WR but will be a lber at ISU - how did you miss that? Lber, if you observe his thick leg muscles, maybe that explains ISU's interest - a WR with muculature who can move. LBer, yeah.

If you have credentials that allow you to opine here legitimately, let us know. If you say this is a message board and you can say what you wish, well, yeah, you can. But I can't be alone here thinking that if you're going to oppose the judgment of our coaches, and state your opinion here, it would be interesting if you can back up your opinion.

I didn't bash on the kid. Just said I'm not super excited. Calm down.

As fans we might have to look at HS recruiting a little different with where Jimmy Rogers is with this program. Focusing on getting the BEST 20-25 HS recruits might not be the approach with the 2026/27 recruiting class.

Sure getting 4/5 star recruits is great. But with Rogers bringing in 70+ players from the portal and HS recruits last winter, we could see high roster churn next winter. I wouldn't be surprised if we add 30-35 HS recruits. The staff might be willing to add kids with mainly G5 offers early, if the staff loves their physical tools and attitude.
