Louisville almost blew it big-time, allowing UNI to take them to five sets. The Cardinals eventually won the 5th with extra points, 22-20. It would have been a *massive* upset had UNI won - Louisville, as a 1 seed would host all their own games through the second weekend AND is hosting the national finals and semifinals.

UNI was up 14-11 in the 5th.

Absolute heartbreaker.

I would counter that UNI blew the match with 4 crucial service errors at the end of the 5th set that enabled Louisville to win the match.

UNI has front row athleticism and skill that ISU needs improvement on. The 3 front row recruits that ISU signed for 2025 will help address that gap.

Ariz St was the Big 12’s dominant team last year (17–1, 30-3) then were upset at home by Texas A&M in NCAA’s.
Looks like they’re becoming a national power.
