***2026 NCAA WBB Tournament Thread***

WVU had a look for the win with 8 seconds left, but missed a 15-footer.

Then a second look on an inbound with 0.2 on the clock, but by rule only a tip was possible.

Kentucky 74, West Virginia 73

Next up for the Wildcats is a trip to Fort Worth to take on Texas.

First-round margins:
#1 seeds - 69, 53, 42, 38
#2 seeds - 58, 41, 35, 10

Second-round margins:
#1 seeds - 42, TBD, TBD, and whatever UConn decides
#2 seeds - 54, 29, -8, and Vandy is up 13 after 1Q

OK State vs UCLA shenanigans

4th Q: UCLA has a 16 point lead & a controversial call on an out of bounds play occurs. Jacie Hoyt looks at her players on the floor & points at the floor. One of the gals immediately bends over & pretends her shoe needs tying...(To allow more time to check the iPad)Lots of boos in the arena, but the Pokes won the challenge. Might need to make some changes to the challenge rule?

Meanwhile the lead increases for UCLA...but at least the Pokes didn't lose by 51 points.....

Not just one player tied their shoes but TWO players did. The challenge rule needs to be changed both in the men’s and women’s games as teams have started to bend the rules with subs, shoe tying, etc. to buy time.

Make it like wrestling and it a delay of game if you have to tie your shoe. They need to be secured. If not delay of game, they have to be subbed out.
