Vikings looking sharp today against ARI. Cousins not having the best throwing day, but others (namely the rush game) have stepped up in his place.
Starting to think they can win more than one playoff game. Defense still suspect.
Not expecting them to do anything at the trade deadline, but maybe there is a CB or S that can give them some depth.

****, D/ST handed them the game today late-game. Offense didn't do much at all beyond the TD scored on the muffed punt in the 4th Q. Defense kept coming up with big plays.
I'd put this in the team win category. Both sides of the ball did enough to win. Another bad outing by Joseph, though.
The offense scored 5 TDs...that's like 3-4 games worth for ISU...
I worded that poorly. The offense did very little down the stretch. Pretty ISU-like 4th quarter from them, after a strong showing most of the game. One might even dare to say it was a defense win after the punt recovery.
I do think all 3 phases played well when they needed to. Special teams, outside of Joseph, has been insanely good the whole season.
Thought I'd ask the experts, any reason why Jefferson hasn't scored a TD since Week 1? I have him in fantasy and he's been really good but if he starts scoring Tds he's going to blow up.
I dont watch any Vikings games, I just check box scores and every week it's 3 or 4 random guys scoring all the Tds, never Jefferson.

draws a ton of double coverage, and KOC seems to draw up some really extravagant goal line plays for easy touchdowns.
Secondly, the down the field passing game has left some to be desired. Haven't really taken the top off a defense this year.

This is why I think adding another receiver at the deadline would be a good move. If you get someone opposite Jefferson who's able to get deep and take some pressure off of him, he's going to see better opportunities. Frankly, it's amazing that he's having the production he is, considering the attention he's getting from defenses. It's a testament to his talent.
