Lions going to Lion

I have listened to more upbeat post game shows following losses than today’s. They really trashed the draft.

Lol. He was in on every KO coverage team and was the gunner on punt coverage. That’s a strange injury apparently.
I thought Cine was a Free Safety, as opposed to Strong.

I thought he was good as opposed to bad. He doesn’t sub in at either position. Nor does Booth.
Booth definitely is fighting an injury. Regarding Cine, I'm just saying that I thought he was Bynum's backup as opposed to Harrison's.

You realize Cine was drafted to force either one of the safeties to a backup position right?

Cine has been disappointing so far, but way too early to call him "bad". And also way too early to judge Booth since he has been injured basically the entire season (and I know that was a risk with him coming out).

Yeah. I get it. I'm not saying he was only drafted to be a free safety or that I'm not concerned about his development. I'm only saying that when they announced Smith was out, everyone should have known Mettellus would get the start because that's what the depth chart said.

The concerning thing to me is the talk that neither one of them has been able pick up the playbook. Shades of Patterson and Treadwell. I had hoped we would do a better job of screening those guys pre-draft.

Reading this thread and was pretty sure the Vikings
lost. Who knew?

Admittedly, it looked like they were well on their way to an L for most of the game. Give credit where credit is due, the Lions are improved, so I'll take the win, Cousins made plays when he had to, and Osborn was huge on that last drive.
