They essentially trade spots in both the 1st and 2nd round with Detroit to pick up a third. Lost way too much first round value IMO.

The Lions also got arguably the best WR in the draft. And the Vikings get to play him twice per season. This trade makes absolutely no sense, especially with a division rival. Absolutely should have included a 2023 first rounder.

I've really like Kwesi so far, but this is a huge rookie mistake for the return and with it being a division rival.

I really wanted the Vikes to take Williams and I thought once the Saints traded in front of them they were going to take him.

To have the Vikes then trade with the Lions and have THEM take Williams hurts even more.
