MLB: ***2026 Minnesota Twins***

Nice xtra inning win for the Twins. Going for nine in a row.

Lewis finally gets off the snide, but Jax continues to struggle.

Jax had some me bad luck in that inning. Other than his back to back stinkers he has had really good results.

Hopefully Jax is just in an early season funk. Other than Ks/9, almost every statistic so far this season is the worst of his Twins career.

Of course I'm in town tonight and they're off.
Happens to me all the time. Was in Toronto a couple weeks ago... they were on the road. In San Diego last summer... they were on the road. In San Francisco 2 years ago... you guessed it ..On the road. My timing sucks.

Yep and to add insult to injury the Wolves are on the road too. Guess it could be fun to find a sports bar in town to watch with other Wolves fans.

Anyone got tips for going to Saints games? I'm gonna hit one in a couple weeks. I'll go to the Twins game likely the day before or after (will see who's pitching, haven't seen Pablo shove live so hoping it works out). Never been to a St. Paul game so I feel like I need to check it off my list while I'm up there.

What are you looking for tips for? Things to do before and after?

Best place to sit, tips on in stadium experience (I'm guessing I'll be able to walk whereever but maybe they get bigger crowds than I think), good resturants nearby or the southeast-ish of St. Paul.

Stadium is pretty small and easy to walk around. They have a craft beer area in the outfield. There used to be a cool rooftop bar that overlooked the stadium but looks like that's closed.

As far as restaurants nearby. Brunsons pub is cool and has good food, St Paul Brewing has good beer and food and a really cool patio, The Bulldog is within walking decent and has a good beer selection and the food is decent. Those are all pretty close. Lots of stuff on West 7th near Xcel Energy Center. I can recommend a lot more if there is something specific you are looking for

The Twins and Saints play at home the same day on May 24, June 7, June 21, and July 12. The Twins start at 1:10 pm and the Saints start at 6:37 pm on each of those days. I'm planning on doing the old "streetcar doubleheader" on one of those Saturdays.
