The Athletic had an article the other day that talking about which how teams did in the portal. The G5 person stated the his school was surprised that a lot of the kids that they were after, were also being recruited by ISU and Baylor. Now we don't know what G5 school they were talking about, but if we are going after the same kids that a G5 school is also after, that really does not sound good.

He had an interesting recruiting period out of high school. Committed to Tulane, then visits Nebby & Iowa, commits to Nebby then decommits just a month later, ends up back at Tulane.
No idea on this young man. Tulane had 2 freshman RBs lead them in carries & yards, but 1st transferred to Tennessee. Transfers came in from Miss St & Okie State. Top it off, Tulane had a head coaching change. Wouldn't surprise me 1 bit if AB III leads us in rushing. He's a man with a lot of tread on the tires, and at ~220 lbs he may fit in best with Rogers' & Roehl's vision.
Well, sadly, there are likely G5 schools with more money to buy a team than ISU has. Like Memphis for one. All you need is one or two big donors. I don't think it is breaking news that we have to find the hidden gems, not the proven players. Until one of us wins the Super Lottery.

Well hopefully it won't be this scenario but at least if Iowa is putting it on us most of the nation will be watching the Ohio State @ Texas game at that time.

Was hoping for hot afternoon game @ Iowa where ISU wears all white and Hoks have to wear their black unis, but oh well.
At least the BYU game is late enough at night the entire nation won’t be awake to watch us get humiliated
