Made this list last year. We will be judged based on our record against the rest of the P4 conferences. I like to watch these games outside of all the Iowa State games, need to root for our fellow Big 12 brethren. I'll update this with wins/loses throughout the season.

Week 1

Nebraska neutral Cincinnati - L
Auburn @ Baylor - L
Utah @ UCLA - W
Georgia Tech @ Colorado - L
TCU @ UNC - W

Week 2

Arizona State @ Mississippi St - L
Kansas @ Missouri - L
Iowa @ Iowa State - W
Oklahoma St @ Oregon - L
Baylor @ SMU - W
Stanford @ BYU - W

Week 3

Pitt @ WVU - W

Week 4

UNC @ UCF - W
SMU @ TCU - W

Number of games against other conferences:
Big10 - 4 (2-2)
SEC - 3 (0-3)
ACC - 7 (6-1)

7 Home/6 Road/1 Neutral

No time to delve at the moment, seems like XII didn't do all so well vs. P4 in '24. It's possible league performed worse in some years prior, but I recall last season being a bit underwhelming in that regard.

Sometimes, too, "productive wins" can turn to "meh" by end of season.

Edit: Another thing, is this the final season of "Big 12 vs. Big 12 as non-conference game" thing? I think only two this year(?), but that doesn't help anything.

Edit(2): Checked a few teams' schedules: Wins over SMU, Iowa, Arkansas, Mississippi State. Other than SMU, didn't move need much, but at least were W's. I checked only about 1/2 the league, though.

Updated with W/L. Overall could have been a better showing from the Big12 this weekend. We finished out with some good wins for TCU and Utah. Still losing two at home doesn't help the Big 12 national perception.

At the end of the day I don't think any of the teams that lost were going to compete for a Big 12 championship.

Looking ahead we have four Big12 teams that do not play a P4 team in the non con:

Arizona
Houston
Kansas State
Texas Tech

With the SEC and the ACC going to 9 conference games and potentially requiring 1 P4 non-con game these four teams should absolutely cancel one of their buy games and schedule a P4 team. I think this really hurts Tech and Houston this year playing a ****** non-con.

Here are the teams from the SEC and ACC that do not have a P4 non-con on their schedule:

Ole Miss - have only 11 games scheduled
Miami - have only 11 games scheduled
Syracuse - have 12 but three buy games

Not sure if the Big10 will force teams to go 1 P4 in non-con but here is the list:

Indiana
Nebraska
Penn State
Washington
