2025 Transfer Options

I was assured by Sparty that the Big Ten would never consider such a thing, though.
Not sure you can use something the ACC is instituting as predictive for the Big 10. The ACC is doing this out of desperation and survival. It will likely blow up in their faces at some point, but it will probably buy them a few more years as a conference.

So Bama, Georgia, Michigan, Texas, etc... are not going to hold Northwestern, Rutgers, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest and fill-in-the-blank middling-to-bottom level teams hostage over more money. These teams are already plotting a Super League of nothing but the top NCAA teams in a conference.

6'5" guard. Pretty low 3 pt%. I wonder if he is more of a crash the lane with that ppg.
That is exactly what he appears to be. Nelson would be a fun slasher who can get to the cup but there would be some fit issues starting next to Tamin. Bateman or Williams would need to be a dead eye shooter day 1 to keep the spacing on Off and defenses honest.

Kelvin Sampson was saying, Uzan was not a great shooter the year before he came to Houston either. They fixed it and now he's amazing. With 3 years left, you have to assume you can make him a better shooter. Guy isn't done developing.

Best case scenario is the middle class expands, but that’s still a long ways off from anything reminiscent of the P5 era

And unless it happens soon, a lot of damage will have been done to those in the Big 12 and ACC.

We just have to embrace the new era in which we’re the midmajor, and in basketball any school with a wealthy donor can compete with us in basketball

Totally agree with the damage assessment premise. I believe the "Middle Class" you refer to will expand into its own League. I can imagine a scenario like FBS and FCS.

Nice size at 6'5" (listed). He shoots 43% from the field. The 25% from three is not going to create any spacing, but his 5 rpg look very nice.

Tamin shot around that from 3 as a FR. He’s not exactly a knock down shooter now, but teams definitely have to guard him out there.

I heard from a fairly good source on this site that Iowa State is no longer a developmental program.

They had to do it, as Fran was going to find a way to make that group just slightly above average. Not sure how the Iowa Bulldogs is going to work out for them next year, but I think they did get a good coach if he can recruit the level of players that he needs there and get them to play in that system.
Freeman was gone regardless. There was sources saying he was going to creighton immediately after the injury report. I think Dix likely goes too. Fran wasn't bringing everyone back.

He shot 7+ FT's per game so that tells me he gets to the basket. That will definitely create space for jump shooters.
