I didn’t get to see any of this. I know the practices are supposedly more important but how did our guys look outside of that catch by Higgins?

I mostly watched the 2nd half. Travis played RT and looked good. Noel dropped a TD and had another drop but did catch a 2 pt conversion. Higgins caught a TD falling backwards and was well covered. I didn't see Porter at all. Looked like he didn't have pads on the sideline. Not sure if he was injured in the first half.

I don’t know…they’re right more often than they’re wrong. It’s just that they’re not always right. You don’t see the Purdy story very often.
I dunno...the list of highly rated qb's that have failed, is incredibly/insanely long.
I'm not gonna research. Google will validate, waaaay beyond drunk me.
For starters (not in chronological order). J Russell, A Pryor, J Fields, T Tebow,
M Trubisky, K Pickett, R Leaf, Caleb Williams (still to be determined), Mac Jones, K Murray(?), M Sanchez, Vince Young, J Manzel, S Bradford, C McCoy, D Watson, J Garrapolo, T Lance,
B Young(?), Charlie Ward, Jamis Winston, the kid from BYU (recent),
David Jones, the dude from Oregon (not so long ago), Will Grier....
Apologies for misspellings.
And yep, this is a pretty short list, re: highly touted qbs, that haven't panned out, some of whom fall into the category of still questionable.
Ps. Before my time, but me thinks our own George Amundson, pretty highly regarded?

Give me a link to one person that has him listed in the first round. Flowers was always a mid 2nd to possible first round selection. I would love to see Noel make it into the first round, but thinking just because Flowers did, therefore Noel will also is really most likely not going to happen.

You made a blanket statement that Noel's size was a disqualifier for teams to slot him as a high pick.

I gave one example, Flowers, where that obviously was not true. I specifically said I didn't necessarily believe Noel was Flowers.

Your "argument" has no merit and I don't need to continue feeding it because it's irrational.

I listened to a podcast from one evaluator I really trust who said Noel had the best Senior Bowl week of any player at any position. He said Noel is easily a top-45 player in the draft at this point (in his opinion) and wouldn't be surprised if someone took a chance on Noel at the end of the first round. Was impressive in the slot, of course, but he also lined up a few times at the X position, and was one of the only WR in the whole camp to get separation and cook out wide. Noel was named the best WR in the practice sessions.

Higgins is rated a higher draft pick than Noel, your entire case is Flowers was drafted in the 1st round, and they are roughly the same size, so therefore Noel could also be drafted that high, while Flowers always had a higher draft value.

Noel will be drafted, in the late 2nd to 3rd round, right where his draft status suggests he will be.

Your reasoning has zero value, its nothing personal against Noel, but finding one example of a player drafted early that is small, does not change the fact most receivers drafted high tend to be over 6 foot. Again the reason Higgins is rated as a higher draft pick.
