I always appreciate when people decide to be an ass, and laugh at a reasonable post.

Just one example? Appy State lost their QB, Joey Aguilar—now at Tennessee. JJ Kohl dropped down.

Duh.
So recruiting kids with the selling point if you turn out better than what we think, you can leave and make money at the P4 level, is better than having them stay four years at the school? That is what you are saying. Would App State rather have the kid they lost that went to Tennessee or the kid that replaced him?
All this movement is great for the kids, but hurts the programs in the MWC and others, it's not being an ass pointing that out, when it's the truth. Lose a productive player and pick up one from a current P4 school that is now dropping down really doesn't seem like much of a fair trade to the MWC school. Would you rather have Aguilar or Kohl as your starting QB next season?

If AI is correct I'd say....no

Since Deion Sanders became the coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, one player has been drafted into the NFL:

Shedeur Sanders was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the 5th round of the 2025 NFL Draft as the 144th overall pick.
Additionally, Shilo Sanders signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent after the 2025 NFL Draft. While not a drafted player, he will also be joining the NFL after playing under Coach Sanders at Colorado
Travis Hunter says "Hi!" :)

It’s about opportunities and being a place that is able to invest, add value to win win relationships.

Do you believe he resurrected CU FB enough to have his jersey retired?
He obviously played a roll in resurrecting them. They finished in a four way tie for first place in the Big12.

But also obviously, his jersey was only retired(especially so quickly) because he’s the son of the HC, Mr. Primetime.

Appalachian State just got a verbal commitment from Nathan Bernhardt, a borderline 4 star QB that visited Ames a couple times.

It's not that he is the son of the HC, it's that he is the son of Deion Sanders. Deion is probably the only coach in the country that would retire his own son's number after only playing 2 years at the school.

That was my point. His father Deion Saunders was the HC. His jersey wouldn’t have been retired if Prime wasn’t the HC.

And had it retired immediately instead of waiting 5 or so years like everywhere else just so he could get it done before Deion inevitably leaves Colorado in the next year or two. Since he knows no one else at the school would have retired it.

It's also telling that no one has a problem with Travis Hunter's being retired, because they know how great he was. Sanders was good. He wasn't an all time great player though.

This isn't correct. Jimmy Horn Jr and some other receiver from Colorado got drafted and there might have been a couple more.
