Williams might have been a reach for their #1 pick, especially when they have a desperate need at the edge rusher opposite of Hutch (something Brad Holmes continues to not address this offseason)... but with the 1st round quickly emptying out of DTs, I don't hate the pick, even if I don't love it, especially since he'll start day 1.
As far as Ratledge... with the way the Lions play offense, extremely mobile interior linemen are always a plus, especially when we need some depth and need to start replacing some of the existing pieces over the next year.
I expect Noel to be one the next 2–3 WR drafted, with Porter going early in the third.
Interesting how OL seems to have remained mostly unchanged.
At some point, we'll start to see "edge blocker" and "interior ball-snapper."
Green is a perfect Raven, lot of off the field trouble. Looking at KC and I have them taking either Amos CB or Johnson from Iowa.

Way-way back in HS, I was a split end.
We were run-heavy, especially senior year when we used wishbone. We passed maybe 1.25 times per game.
My main role on offense, rotating with our other SE: Coach told me the play, sprinted to the huddle, using my impeccable memory to relay the exact formation/play to QB four seconds later. QB then told the rest of the team the play. Ready, break!
During the play, block whenever necessary, run a pass pattern occasionally as "deception," and don't do anything dumb, like jump offside.
That’s funny cuz when I was in HS we ran the Wing T and our split ends brought the play in as well.
Losing that was a travesty.
Yes. He’s not worth investing in as a QB1 and not worth bringing in as any sort of backup situation. Just an obvious locker room cancer.

Boy that is a reach, the Athletic had him rated as a 3rd to 4th ranked DL, 15th in their grouping. I get its a need pick, but there was better value out there then Lott.
Hearing the TV say he had 5 starts and averaged 17 snaps a game….first thought was WTF
