Shadeur has talent, but how does that talent convert to the NFL is the question. His dad has made it known from the start that he would like to see his son on a good team and not be the start of a rebuilding one. Could be the reason he was blowing off some teams, because he does not want to get drafted by them.
Shader seems like the next Kyler Murray to me. I think he’ll be fine in the nfl.

I'd take Noel but Bills just paid Shakur and I think they're too similar. Bills are in need of a WR more like Higgins but they whiffed on Coleman (he may pan out but we'll see) so prob be reluctant to go back to WR early in the draft. A lot of needs on D too.
Coleman was a whiff? I thought he had a good season and some great plays.

Rooting for all of our guys to go high. Doesn't seem likely any of our guys will round 1 but who knows. I truly think all 4 of the guys who went to the combine can have long careers. Travis and Porter truly have enough talent to make the Hall of Fame someday in my opinion. I've never seen DB play as good as Darien Porter at Iowa State. Travis is probably our best offensive lineman since Osemele.

A lot of experts seem to think Houston will take a WR early. I'm not sure about that. Even if they lose Diggs, they still have Collins and Dell, and Hutchinson has a good season and would be a solid #3. WR is not one of their biggest needs and if they do draft one, they can get a decent one in round 3 or 4.

I would like to see Noel go to the Rams, 49ers or Chiefs.

Nobody is talking about Stevo. He won't get drafted, but he's one of the best fullbacks in the draft and I could honestly see him getting picked up as a free agent and making a 53 man roster. CJ Ham is old so perhaps the Vikings grab Klotz.

Will Dell even be healthy for the season? That was a pretty gruesome injury he had on Christmas day, and he has a history of being injured. I don't think Houston can rely on him as a pure #2.

That's true. We will see if they add anyone in free agency.

As long as none of our guys go to Dallas then I'm ok with it.

I think Porter has a chance to sneak into the 1st round, 2nd at worst.
If he had all the same measurables and career stats but played at a blue blood somewhere no one would bat an eye at him going mid to late 1st. There's been 3 DBs in the last 30 years with better athletic profiles and it's not like he wasn't productive too. Someone's going to see him as a moldable explosive project with limited wear and tear that they can polish up. Plus special teams ace that has shown he works hard, learns fast, and is a team first player.
I'm not saying he will, or even that he should, I just don't think we should be surprised at the possibility. This isn't the same ISU of 10 years ago. We have a strong reputation for producing reliable hard working professionals, and this year our guys have prototypical NFL size, speed, and quickness to go with it.

Todd McShay of the Russillo pod today talked about how he thinks wide receiver order will look drastically different that what projections have been over last couple months. Mentioned he would have no problem if both Higgins and Noel went late 1st round because more polished than others.

Also, Hutch hasn’t quite developed into a reliable 3. He’s played more like a 4-5 up to this point

Watched every game. He shouldn't have been taken No. 33 overall.
Had 3 receptions in the playoffs.
He's only 21. Hopefully he turns into Nico Collins this off season.

There also doesn't seem to be a consensus "it" guy in the WR class.

Like Harrison Jr. last year, was he good?

I guess, but sort of disappeared into the Arizona morass.

Nope. Dell is getting another surgery for his ACL. Texans need another WR.

Idk, I think Skattebo is a great college back, but I don't think he's a great NFL prospect. Probably late 3rd to 4th? Montgomery is not a great comparison. David had elite change of direction speed and vision which Skattebo hasn't really shown. My biggest concern with him is his tendency to lower the crown of his helmet to initiate contact. It's what makes him so good at running through contact, and it really concerns me going forward in terms of health and if it will work against the bigger and better players in the NFL.
Skatt reminds me more like gerhart and will probably have the same type of career is my thought.
