Penn State is going to end up with Brian Daboll and it's going to be hilarious.
I'm far from a lawyer but I believe part of Kelly's argument vs LSU is that the school's handling of his removal negatively affected his ability to get a new HC job elsewhere. The argument then is that LSU should owe him the full buyout as a result. If he takes the Penn State job right away, it would kneecap his own legal argument. (I think)
From a scandals standpoint, BK and PSU are perfect for each other
My guess is they have made offers to several and Campbell was one. But the fact we have heard nothing tells me everything I want to know.

FWIW, both Williams & Blum said on their podcast, which is live, that in their opinion Campbell is not going to Penn State based on what they have seen and heard from inside the ISU building. Williams has been in touch with them a lot since today is signing day.
Could still happen, but those two are as connected as anyone. And neither of them is concerned about it.
Penn States AD could lose his job over this. That hurts his chances of getting someone decent even more. He has really hurt the football program by getting rid of Franklin and not having plans B and C.

MC has a very very small group of "business" advisors so I fear that it could be a well-kept secret because of the fact that he doesn't have an agent out there leveraging an offer or two? But I do feel you are most likely correct...no doubt they talked to him. For how long we might never know!
Not saying it won’t happen because I have no idea. But our season has been over for 5 days now (except for the bowl). If there was a move for Campbell, PSU would have wanted it within the last 5 days to get him in before signing day I’d imagine.
The longer this goes on, the more likely Campbell stays and it’s just an elevation of their interim. Which would be a disaster.
Of course, PSU could just throw him a bag in desperation that is too much to resist
Something I haven’t heard is how much NIL they promised the BYU coach. If Cael even thinks Kraft would take one penny of Penn States NIL from his program and give it to the next head football coach, that could be a bigger problem for Penn State. Kraft has dug himself a big hole.
Thanks, haven’t listened yet. Williams also said last week, “I think it [Campbell accepting an offer] would be after next season.” Now, who knows what P4 openings there’ll be, but could be decent NFL ones

The funny part is the blue bloods have been forced to cannabalize their own programs to get head coaches.
I worry more about the Browns, Bengals, or Steelers jobs compared to most of the P4 jobs.
Big loss for KSU. I think they pushed him out of town and they shouldn’t have. Back to poverty for the wildcats
Klieman has been dealing with family issues this year, along with some health concerns. I don't get the sense that this was KSU forcing him out, so much as Klieman needing to step back. This allows the Wildcats to bring back their favorite son in Colin Klein before someone else can snag him up, while leaving the door open for Klieman to remain part of the program in some capacity should he decide to.
