LSU: We didn't fire Kelly. He just stopped showing up to work after we had a meeting discussing his "possible" termination.

That is a genius strategy!

Step 1: Send in an unauthorized individual to fake fire the employee.
Step 2: The employee that was fake fired quits showing up to work because he thought he was real fired.
Step 3: Real fire the employee for not doing his job.

That’s some real Michael Scott type ****.

It would be funny if Kelly shows up for practice tomorrow.

ESPN is definitely carrying LSUs water for them.
Latest Headline: Kelly rejects LSU buyout, seeks $54 million.
The correct headline: LSU rejects their own buyout.

They are about one step away from using Harry and Lloyd's "I said doll hairs not dollars" scheme.

Think this could be a good hire for Virginia Tech if it happens. Franklin in his career has recruited the DMV area very well.

Very good hire for VT. Going to get them 8-10 wins a year. Their fans should be thrilled with that

Wasn't one of the stipulations for his buyout is that he had to be working somewhere else? So could Va Tech theoretically pay him $1 a year and Penn State would have to pay his max buyout?
