An 0-2 start is bad but an 0-2 to conference play all but eliminates FSU from the cfp. You could lose all of your non cons and still have a path to be one of the top 5 conference champs but not having a path to win your league is a death sentence.

Nothing against GT or BC but it's not like they've lost to power house programs. Getting beat by the teams they think are beneath them is beautiful.

Gotta wonder if his NIL payment is factoring into the decision. See it in the NFL too, your paying a player a lot of money, so ownership says you gotta play them, despite having maybe better options on the bench.

The yearly reminder why preseason rankings are stupid. I know why we have them, but every year there is a couple of teams ranked in the top-15 that end up being nowhere near that good.
