Tyrese can't keep having these games where he disappears. Too much of a regular occurrence

No exaggeration that Dort is probably 2x as strong as him (or more). They need a strategy to check him if officials let him play linebacker and it has to involve Pacers stronger players getting overly physical with him.

I view SGA and Williams as the role players in the series and it’s been Dort wrecking Pacers offense in OKC’s wins that is by far the key thing.

I don't understand why Pacers player are not just pushing off defenders on all their offensive possessions. If the ref calls an offensive foul, just point to SGA. Worth the technical.

But in all seriousness, the Pacers should start playing WAY more physical and get in shoving matches/altercations with OKC. That will force refs to start calling fouls on BOTH teams to get things under control.

Dort is also 14-24 from 3 in the finals. He's an outstanding defender, but I didn't realize he is this good of a shooter when left alone.

I think they need to have probably Mathurin or Nesmith just go nuts on Dort to wear him out or get him angry earlier than usual. It’s the first half really, OKC can’t play like that an entire game. The question has been if they lose the intensity at 20 minutes or 40 minutes.

They can’t just let him play linebacker on Tyrese then be comfortable on offense.

The problem they have is when they spend the time running this kind of action, a lot of the shot clock is gone and the offense isn’t flowing like they want. I don’t know what a good answer is, the blocks and steals numbers were terrible.

A lot of NBA fans are going to HATE the Lakers being run with same level of backing as the Dodgers. Kind of been lucky that the Buss family has largely been incompetent and cheap as hell since Jerry Buss died.

The CBA curbs some of the financial advantage of course, but they've been notorious for not investing in scouting/analytics, cheap on hiring coaches, hiring friends over experts (See Pelinka and Rambis). Lakers have SO much low hanging fruit to improve organizationally.
