Dort is a defensive menace, not forcing it was the right play. The other guys stepped up big time, especially on the road.

Nembhard or Siakam one on one vs any of OKC’s other players is a decent option, then the whole team is great kicking for open 3s.

How am I supposed to go to sleep after this ****? I’m ready to run through a wall.

I feel like I've been that way for a month. I went camping in the middle of the mountains and I was still up on a peak hitting score refresh every 10 seconds hoping I could get signal for an update.

Honestly OKC was annoying me throughout the game which makes it even sweeter. Haven't watched them much all year but they just came across as really arrogant.

For one game you almost can't blame them.

99.999999999999% of predictions were OKC in 4 (already wrong) or OKC in 5 (something like 95% chance of being wrong).

Look where Tyrese released his jumper. No defender on the "greatest defensive team in history of universe" even close to it. Screenshot 2025-06-05 at 8.49.35 PM.png

His shot is not as "quirky" as people think, that thing is going in FREQUENTLY.

I don't watch a lot of NBA but why do they get to inbound on their side?
In the NBA, when you call a timeout in the last minute of the game after a made basket...you get the ball at half court. You have to call that timeout before throwing it inbounds to get it at halfcourt though.

I've seen the slow motion replay of his game winning shot a bunch now and everything about Hali's shot must make a shooting coach cringe. But nobody should touch that thing. It's ******* golden.

It’s nice to see the finals being a matchup of two small market franchises. It’s isn’t a superstar or trio of superstars dragging an undeserving sacrifice to the Finals against a payroll juggernaut. I’m not saying these are dynasties but these are well-run franchises and good to see them get the reward of playing for the title.

It's been that way since January. The best podcasts get that it's a pure team that doesn't need one guy to carry scoring but none of the big cable shows or national writers get it.
That’s where I turned off halftime, which was very early, when Stephen A was screaming about how SGA could not be stopped.

He was 8-18 shooting, calm down. Yeah he finished with 38… on 30 shots! And only 3 assist. He shot 46%, the same as Halliburton did, who ESPN geniuses was saying had a bad game up to the final shot.

God I already miss TNT.
