Only one Top 25 match-up this week (#9 Mizzou @ #25 Texas A&M) but hopefully we get an upset or two. Or at least closer than expected games.

Friday Night Slate:

Houston at TCU6:30 pmESPN / ESPN Video
Michigan State at Oregon8:00 pmFOX (cable) / FOX Video
Syracuse at UNLV8:00 pmFS1 / FOX Video

Full Saturday Slate:

Uh, I'd say we did! And still might have another one with Cal.

Jeepers if we can go into Morgantown and win this is going to get interesting with rankings with all the losses piling up by others

Tenn goes down. On the surface this weekend seems to have shaken out pretty well for us.

With cal currently beating Miami, and USC and Michaihn also losing, maybe playing games in radically different time zones is a bigger negative then thought. Like I knew it would have an effect but will be interesting to see the trend

I don't follow but I wonder if NIL has also impacted it in a way that wasn't expected.

Have the elite teams maintained their depth or has a lot of their depth transferred to places where they'll play and still make money?

Yep. Job done well so far. We go into Morgantown at night and win. That will start to open some eyes.

I agree with your thought. It’s what I always thought may happen with NIL. It’s hard for these programs to just stash away players now.

Depth is an issue for sure with the transfers more than NIL. I was talking about a lot of the teams being upset today were playing in radically different time zones.

I joke about it but I really wonder if there's a knee jerk reaction at some point to change the rules again so those programs keep the ratings darling image.
