Linn-Mar was, Marion and Anamosa were not. ECIC was the bigger city schools mostly.
Are you sure? There was a time when LM was small and did not play the Jefferson's, Kennedy's, Wash's, etc... those teams were in a higher class. This was long before MVC.

Yeah he made some stupid and I'm sure false comments about never playing for tOSU even if they had offered him. Just dumb.

ISU had a lineman say some stupid **** last year before playing Bevo.

Not that Texas probably even cared or needed motivation but there's just some things you don't do and besides imo it's a stronger look to not say much of anything and just play.

Good back though. Super deceptive off the edge.

Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but I'm talking 1980s. Maybe that was MVC and not ECIC. But LM was big enough in the 80s to be in the same conference with the bigger schools.

Upset alert At Vandy?

Mizzou sure proved their top 10 rating today. Tiger Woof.

Boy the SEC is just a meat grinder. No need to worry here. Rankings will not fall as much as you might hope.

The final ECIC was: L-M, LaSalle, Dyersville Beckman, IC Regina, Benton Community...West Delaware and...who am I forgetting? I believe Regis was independent?

You are correct...Marion and Anamosa were not in the ECIC.

This thread has way too many first name references to Squawk players for my liking.

Yep - TUFF (as rain) day for the Tigers and their #1 fan, Roger Sprague!
