WVU gave up a 1st and 30 for a TD. There should have been someone playing center field. WVU is going to lose. How do you blow a 10 point lead with 3 min left. Big 12 needs all of these type of wins and WVU sh#t their pants. I'm going to Morgantown this year and I was hoping it would be a big game. We better not fking lose to these clowns.
WVU has the talent but they can't put a game together. Kind of been Neal Browns story.

Here's their Sagarin Schedule (not including today yet):

131 Illinois State
24 Iowa State
105 Troy
52 Minn
3 tOSU
33 Wash
74 MSU
77 NW
34 Wisc
64 UCLA
45 Maryland
26 Neb

It's not at all an exaggeration that ISU at home may be their second toughest game.

Washington and Wisky are garbage.

Not saying the Big 12 looks all that great either... but I'm glad ISU has a favorable schedule for once.

Testifying
We beat West Virginia in the backyard brawl and we beat the officials too.

Did he just say that?

I turned to the Apple cup. How did West Virginia blow that one?

Looking less and less like we'll be a multi bid league, but it's still very early. Guess we'll just have to win the Big 12 championship.

IMHO I think OK St might be the one team that can win in dominant fashion, so if that happened and a team beats them in CCG I think that might be the most likely.

The formula is basically a team ranked 7th or higher losing that game.

Really curious how TCU/UCF look vs each other. I'm not ready to form an opinion on either of them. UCF has played absolutely nobody. They have @Florida in a couple weeks so there is that.

Heck, I think they just got done paying Holgerson to not be their coach. Now they gotta start paying Neal to go away?

Washington has I think close to the most turnover of any team. I can't remember exactly but think I read it.

The fortunate thing for Iowa is with the exception of Ohio State, they get their best opponents including Iowa State at home. You couldn't set it up better if you picked home/away yourself knowing they'd lose to Ohio State anywhere.

Losing to Memphis @ Memphis in the Bowl was disturbing but maybe Memphis is better than I thought after today’s results. Preseason top10 FSU starts 0-3, wonder how many times that’s happened.

I don't know what better tool to use to judge non-ranked teams, but per Sagarin our conference draw is actually significantly stronger even without OKState one of the better looking teams.

72 Houston
36 Baylor
32 WVU
23 UCF
67 Tech
28 KU
68 Cincy
8 Utah
15 KSU

This is still radically easier than our schedules have been since Big 12 North dissolved. We've had an average SOS of #11 over the past decade which is insane considering it's not really possible to average higher than #8 because you'd need to be top 5 almost every single year.

I'm excited to get some Iowa-style easier schedules. Their average schedule over the past decade is 36th. Just really average, not tough.

First time its happened vs 3 unranked teams.

Penn State did it in 2020 (started #7 but went 0-5)

Covid year was fucky though, last time before that was Texas A&M (#10) going 0-3 against 3 ranked teams in 1988.
