FSU overdose the Warchant. And what is sad is they have reduced using it this year and it still is annoying to watch/listen to over and over and over and over and over and over.............

Similar to KSU and that stupid Wabasha Cleveland Steamer Ball song, they play repeatedly.

If anyone needs evidence for how utterly stupid the preseason top 25 ranking is, just watch Florida State play (or Iowa).

I would have put Florida State top ten pre season. Now they might not be top 100. Missing that playoff was a huge nail in the coffin

He has always ran a conservative offense. I watch them every Saturday. The amount of times they could have stepped on the gas on throttled teams is unreal.
Just did a quick check and Bama was at least top-7 in total offense from 2018-2021. He always had the best or one of the best defenses and a great rushing attack. No need to go all Monday Night Football when you are the best at the thing every coach wants. And that’s to run the ball and control the game with your defense and rushing attack.

He had years where they were a more open offense and others that weren’t. But to say he’s Kirk Ferentz is a joke.

I can see Bama going back to pre-Sabsn levels.

They were a monster under him.

Memphis got screwed on that interception. Both players had possession when they were officially down, and only then did the FSU player pull it away. If both players have possession when the ball is down, possession should go to the offensive player.

Tell that to the refs in the ISU/OSU a few years ago. Same thing happened to us a few years ago, in the endzone.

Well then I’m starting to wonder what you watch every Saturday. He is widely known for changing his philosophy each year depending on what he had that year.

Since 2018 they averaged 45, 45, 48, 39, 41, and 31 ppg. 5 of the 6 years they were top 5 offenses in the country. Oh and had two heisman winners on offense.

Outside of his first year, they scored over 30 ppg ever year. He had 3 years they scored more than 40 ppg. And as another poster said the offense starting in 2018 was one of the best in college every year. How exactly is that conservative? From 18-22 they were top 5 every year.

Why did FSU go for 2 on the last TD?

If they took the 1, they would only be down 7 now.

But because they went for 2, and failed they now need 2 on another TD to tie.

And getting 2 on the last TD still would have left them down by 9, and need 2 scores anyway. So to me going for 2 there doesnt make sense.

See, I know why, but it’s still no bueno.

FSU had a long drive, almost 20 plays, before kicking that field goal. ESPN goes to a commercial break. We return to the game, FSU kicks off … and ESPN takes another commercial break.

Now I know it’s because they couldn’t take any ad breaks during the previous long drive and now they have to catch up - but it’s still maddening.

Kirk Ferentz probably recommended it.

My schadenfreude is off the charts watching this FSU debacle, despite Memphis punking us in their own stadium in the bowl game last winter.

That's not like me.
